Reverse Engineering
When your equipment is down, you don’t have time to wait for long lead time OEM parts. When drawings are not available, MMR specializes in recreating parts from a sample or even what’s left of a sample. MMR has invested heavily in technology to make sure we stand out from the competition. Our 3D laser scanner can reverse engineer a part to better than a .001” tolerance quicker and with more accuracy than our competition. In addition, our material gun can accurately determine material type in a matter of seconds.
On-site Troubleshooting
Can’t get your equipment to us or have a prototype in mind? We can come to you! Our engineers can visit you on-site to observe your equipment in-action and brainstorm solutions to the problems you are experiencing. Call us today to see how we can help!
Product Improvement
Just because something was “always done this way”, doesn’t mean it can’t be better! Here at MMR, we believe strongly that there is always room for improvement and innovation. Our engineers have machinist backgrounds and bring a unique problem-solving outlook, they work closely with our customers listen to the issues you are experiencing, and advise of possible improvements for better performance and efficiencies. Having served a multitude of various industries, our team has seen and worked on it all. We will help you think outside the box to create longer lasting parts or machines by reviewing material selection, adding additional features or modifications, or adding additional processes. Our engineers and project managers do not work on commission and will never sell you anything you don’t need. Our sole endeavor is to gain your trust and business by producing the best parts and machines possible.
3D Laser Scanning
With our cutting-edge 3D laser scanner, Master Machine and Repair offers customers a host of unique offerings. We are able to scan parts of any shape and size, as well as entire machines; resulting in a 3D model allowing our team of engineers to make prints or design changes in a fraction of the time. In most cases, we can reverse engineering a part to better than a .001” tolerance.
Our laser scanning technology is not only for reverse engineering; we can also help you create a library of your parts. Scanning your parts allows us to create a 3D model and part number system which makes reordering easy. This means if a part breaks, we will already have all of the information on file to produce a new one, reducing our turnaround time to manufacture, while getting you up and running as quickly as possible!
Our laser scanner can also be used for both quality control inspections and part comparison so as to determine a parts wear over time.
You can ship your parts to us for scanning; or we can come to you. Give us a call today to discuss how we can help!
